Our Services
We are an organization dedicated to empowering youth and supporting families across Louisiana. Originally founded to serve the Rapides Parish community, our organization has grown significantly, extending our reach to make a meaningful impact throughout the state.
Our mission is to build a brighter future for the youth of Central Louisiana (CENLA) by addressing their needs through various initiatives. Over the years, we have engaged in numerous projects that reflect our commitment to this mission.
Hurricane Relief
In the aftermath of Hurricanes Laura and Ida, we provided critical support to affected communities. This included distributing tents to displaced families, supplying chainsaws to cleanup crews, and ensuring families had access to essential resources.
Holiday Assistance
Every Thanksgiving, we provide turkeys to families in need, with over 120 turkeys distributed in the past two years alone. At Christmas, we organize a toy drive and provide students with backpacks filled with school supplies and gifts, helping to ease the financial burden on families during the holiday season.
Educational Support
We offer ACT and SAT afterschool training to better prepare students for their academic futures. Recently, we partnered with the Christian Worship Center to expand these programs and reach more students.
Financial Literacy
Our financial training programs equip students with essential life skills, such as saving, budgeting, balancing a checkbook, and preparing for the workforce. We believe that financial education is key to helping youth achieve long-term success.
Spiritual & Personal Growth
Each year, we raise funds to send students to Deeper Youth Camp, a spiritual retreat that provides support to those struggling with addictions and other challenges.
Mentorships
Many youth who enter the Juvenile Justice System lack positive adult figures in their lives. Often, these juveniles receive few to no visits from family members. What they truly need is someone who will listen to them and consistently check in on their well-being.
